Trees stand sparsely on the empty temple site, and thatched houses are built on the embankment seen in the distance. People live here, where the temple disappeared, as a base of life. Indeed, it is the place where a temple was once built, so it is not strange at all to have a private house like this. However, although private houses are built, there is still one left. In the scenery we met through previous works, we find elderly people living by treating the tower as an old tree in the village. This work is about the stories of people who live by using the place where the temple disappeared as a place of life, and the tower that lies alone in the place of life as an observer of the era without movement. As an observer of the times, I would like to explore and listen to this tower and approach a kind of psychological blank phenomenon that appears as we forget through photographic materials and records left in text. These are the stories of the act of making several small pagodas to achieve individual wishes and having the first-class pagoda next to the pagoda to measure the size of the stone during the Japanese colonial period.
